Arsenal Armory operates under a Federal Firearms License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Our Type 07 FFL with Class 02 SOT status authorizes us to manufacture, deal in, and transfer all Title I firearms as well as Title II/NFA firearms including machine guns, suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and other regulated items.

Waiting Periods
- Pistols: 10 days (WA)
- Semi-auto rifles: 10 business days (WA)
- Other long guns: No state waiting period (WA)
- NFA items: ATF approval (typically 2+ months to over a year)
Age Requirements
- Pistols: 21+
- Semi-auto rifles: 21+ (WA law)
- Other long guns: 18+
- NFA items: 21+
ID Requirements
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Current Washington address
- Must be unexpired
- Secondary proof if address differs
Background Checks
- NICS check required for all transfers
- Enhanced check for semi-auto rifles
- Private party transfers require check
- No exceptions
NFA Capabilities
As a licensed manufacturer with SOT status, Arsenal Armory can manufacture, sell, and transfer NFA items including:
- Suppressors / Silencers: Legal in Washington with ATF approval
- Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs): Legal in Washington with ATF approval
- Machine Guns: Pre-1986 transferable to civilians; post-1986 to LE/Gov
- Any Other Weapons (AOWs): $5 transfer tax
- Large Caliber: .50 BMG and other large-bore firearms
All NFA items require approved ATF forms and applicable tax stamps. Processing times currently range from 6-12 months.
